3 Things to Remember w/ International Travel

Three important tips to remember if you are traveling overseas:

1- when you pay with a credit card in many countries, it will ask if you want to pay in the local currency or in USD. Always choose the local currency! Either way the money will be exchanged between currencies, but it will be cheaper for you this way. 

2- when you are given a baggage tag receipt, always keep it. Many airports around the world ask for you to show it on the way out in order to take your bag.

3- it will be helpful on your international flight to have a pen and access to the address that you are staying at in order to fill out the customs form more easily.
